Department includes: Asset-Backed Securities, Letter of Credit,

Surveillance, Collateralized Debt Obligations and Derivative Ratings.

Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) covers a broad spectrum of ABS ratings,
including new assets, revolving consumer assets (credit cards),
synthetic securities, operating assets, future flow, auto loans and
leases, manufactured housing, student loans, recreational vehicles
etc. New assets may include outperforming loans, tax lens, small
business loans etc.

**Strong Knowledge within future flow, auto loans and leases,
manufactured housing, student loans, recreational vehicles etc is
desired.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities Associate Director/Director will be involved:

· In the analysis of asset-backed securities: analysis of the main
elements of asset transactions

(credit, structure, cash flow and legal analysis);

· Review the calculation of the portfolio's potential default frequency;

· Perform cash flow analysis; conduct credit enhancement assessment.

· The individual will be involved in reviewing the structure and legal
documents to ensure their compliance with the Standard&Poor's ratings
criteria

· Prepare a presentation detailing the structure of a transaction to a
rating committee and communicating Standard&Poor's methodology and
procedures to clients.

· The individual will be expected to handle transactions in multiple
asset areas, develop and recommend criteria for new issues consistent
with existing Standard&Poor's criteria, and to write criteria pieces,
deal summaries and to publish articles.

REQUIREMENTS:

· MBA, CFA or JD is required

· A Minimum of Five Years of experience in Structured Finance
**Associate Director 3-5 years

· Significant work experience in asset-backed commercial paper

· The ability to work with Excel and Word and with Financial Data

· Excellent Verbal & Written Communications Skills

· The ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

· The ability to analyze original, non-routine analytical/business
problems in a timely and insightful manner.
