A brand leader in the consumer products industry, is looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager. This Fortune 1000 company is a leading provider of niche consumer products used in and around the home.
Position Description: The Senior Product Manager will have an immediate impact within their high-growth Personal Care and Wellness Division.
The selected candidate will provide key support for the overall vision and long term business strategy; provide expert analysis and insight for the business; lead new product planning, lifecycle planning, distribution and pricing strategies; drive consumer research plans to increase consumer acumen and identify potential strategic partners and technologies in support of the business strategy. The Senior Product Manager will implement plans to drive short-term opportunities in support of the annual goals; facilitate day-to-day communication with cross-functional peers and highlight issues to be addressed by senior management; conduct market research in support of business growth plans and lead development of future business opportunity evaluation and prioritization.
The client offers an extremely competitive compensation and relocation package.
Requirements: BS/BA in Business or Marketing, MBA a plus with 3+ years experience, preferably in durable goods or related industry. Experience selling into major retailers like Target, Walmart, Costco, Walgreens a plus. Must have excellent organization, computer and communication skills with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects. Must have proven leadership skills and be resourceful, an independent thinker and a team player.
