Senior Accoutant - Profile Distillers, Westchester County, New York

Startup telecommunications company with major private equity backing. Position reports to controller. Salary comprises a base of $80,000 plus bonus.

Assist Controller in maintaining general ledger and journal entries, monthly financial closings, account analysis, bank reconciliations, A/P, A/R, tax compliance and support audits. On-going documentation of accounting policies and procedures and ensure accounting processes are performed in compliance with documented SOX procedures.

Must possess a BBA in Accounting or equivalent with three to five years relevant work experience. Good understanding of general ledger and financial reports. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Solid knowledge of Peachtree a big plus. CPA or CPA candidate preferrred. Public Accounting experience a plus.
