POSITION DESCRIPTION:
* Will partner with a business team to assist in analysis and
identification of solutions for a variety of business problems.
* Responsible for extraction of data (data mining, data pulls).
* Provide ad-hoc data analysis support by understanding and meeting
the reporting requests of various internal customers.
* Evaluate, create and maintain reports as per the need of the business unit.
* Will be utilizing business and technical tools (primarily
SQL-based), to ensure accurate and timely data for use in analysis and
strategy tests.
* Write and run SQL and SAS queries to perform segmentations as
designed by the business team.
* Working with relational databases and programming. Teradata,
Oracle, MVS and UNIX experience preferred.
* Perform and take ownership of data analysis to support business
decisions and strategy.
* Will work on multiple projects concurrently. Ability to prioritize
assignments and handle shifting deadlines is a must.
* Willing to accept responsibility, embrace change, as well as manage
and build relationships with other business groups.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum of BS/BA in a quantitative major (i.e. Management
Information Systems Business, Mathematics, Engineering, Science,
Computer Science) from a leading university

* Strong quantitative and analytical skills
* 6 mos. to 5+ years of related analyst experience including but not
limited to academia, consulting, financial services or information
technology industries

* Strong problem solving and conceptual thinking abilities
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
* Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects while working
independently and in teams
