Leerink Swann & Company is a full-service investment banking firm that
offers institutional sales, healthcare equity research, institutional
trading, corporate finance, and asset management services.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Rapidly growing sell-side equity research boutique is looking for a
senior research associate to assist senior equity research analyst in
covering the biotechnology industry. This individual will work closely
with senior research analysts and medical experts to create financial
models and written reports on individual companies and their
securities within the biotechnology industry.
REQUIREMENTS:
The position requires prior experience with financial modeling and
research on life sciences companies in a venture capital or
investment-banking firm. Strong background in financial statement
analysis, healthcare and the investment banking/brokerage industry
preferred. Experience and/or educational background in medical
devices/technology, biotech, and healthcare services companies is
desirable.
Educational requirement: MBA or other equivalent advanced degree such
as M.D. or Ph.D.
