J. Robert Scott is a retainer-based executive search firm specializing
in the recruitment and selection of senior professionals and managers
across a broad range of industries.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Our client is a $300 million Strategic HR Services company in Boston.
We are seeking a Vice President of Finance to function as the
Controller of the business and report directly to the CFO. The ideal
candidates for this role will have a minimum of eight years of senior
level financial experience. The preferred combination of experience
includes both Financial Accounting and Risk Management. Candidates
must possess a broad understanding of P&L's, financial accounting
principles, policies and systems, a strong working knowledge of
computer spreadsheets and modeling software, as well as management
information and database systems. Additionally, this individual must
have exceptional analytical skills and the ability to direct resources
and participate in developing strategies. Our objective is to recruit
an ambitious businessperson with a financial background, combined with
the ability to enhance complex, computerized business systems.
Technical and practical application experience in audit procedures and
audit controls is desirable.

REQUIREMENTS:
Undergraduate degree required and CPA is desired but not mandatory.
