IB Technology requires a strong analyst with excellent communication and influence skills to be a contributing team meember for the conversion of systems from the existing domestic (US) GL to the strategic SAP GL. The successful candidate will be detailed oriented, have had hands-on full software lifecycle project management experience and have either interfaced at least one trading application to the GL or have a detailed understanding of the current financial architecture. Furthermore the candidate will have very strong communication and influencing skills.
Specific responsibilities will include:
To become an expert in the current and target financial systems architecture.
To become an expert on the overall enterprise programme plan to implement the strategic SAP GL.
To compelte analysis of the impact of this project across the whole of IB Tech.
To track towards this programme plan escalating / resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Identify, define and document client requirements and project specifications resulting from research and analysis which you perform in tandem with other team members
Develop and Execute project plan inclusive of approach and definition of roles/responsibilities, tasks, and milestones
Act as liaison between Business and technology partners with the goal of clear communication around all project deliverables
Manage and execute estimation and budget processes
Create and execute on communication plan
Track risks and mitigating strategies
Create scorecard and management reporting
Manage resource plan/tracking
Qualifications/Requirements:
College degree, specialized training or equivalent work experience
Minimum five years of combined business, project management, team leadership and IT experience required
Experience with projects in multiple technologies, functions (e.g. transaction management, risk management etc.) and industries
Knowledge of CMM and Six Sigma Methodologies and Standards
Knowledge and experience using project management software such as Microsoft Project, Project Workbench, PMI, etc.
Experience managing geographically distributed and culturally diverse work-groups with strong team management, leadership and coaching skills
Project Management Certification a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to develop strong client relationships
Team Player with ability to achieve independent goals
Ability to achieve quality results in a high-pressure, rapidly changing environment
Flexible and adaptable to rapidly changing environment and directives
Securities Processing General Ledger experience a plus
Previous SAP G/L experience a plus
Previous JPMC G/L experience a plus
