Company Description: Ampersand Ventures is a $600M private equity firm based in Wellesley, MA that makes mid-sized growth capital and turnaround investments in privately-held industrial technology companies.
Job Description: Ampersand is seeking to add one pre-MBA Associate to its investment staff in Wellesley. This is a newly created position and, as such, the Associate will bear a significant amount of responsibility in proactively identifying, contacting, and evaluating possible investment opportunities. This is a 2-year position with the possibility for continued employment following business school. Ampersand will be raising its sixth private equity fund so this would be a particularly exciting time to join the firm.
Requirements: - 1-3 years of investment banking, corporate development, or relevant consulting experience
- Top-tier academic background (technical degree not required)
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven research and analytical ability
- General understanding of technology and the capital markets
- Self directed individual with strong work ethic

Hi Tufts-Boston, I find it quite refreshing to occasionally find a article like yours with an familair topic such as Private Equity Associate - Ampersand Ventures, Wellesley, MA (pre MBA). Its not was I was searching for but somehow ads to ones list of lifes experiences.
